Davenport is Hiring a FOH Manager Near East Providence, RI
```Duties```
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including managing staff and ensuring excellent customer service
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production and timely delivery of orders
- Train and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining areas, restrooms, and entryways
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menus, taking into account customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in a similar role in the restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, and customer service principles
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems to process orders and payments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team and resolve conflicts
- Knowledge of catering operations is a plus
- Food service management or culinary degree is preferred but not required
